Who We Are

Top Birthday Parties (topbirthdayparties.com) is operated by Beacon Directories, LLC, doing business as Beacon Directories. Top Birthday Parties is part of the Beacon Directories network of online directories. Each site in the network maintains its own privacy policy specific to the data it collects.

Information We Collect

When you submit a form on our site — such as a quote request, claim listing form, or venue suggestion form — we collect the information you provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, event type, event date, estimated party size, and any messages you include.

We also collect certain information automatically when you visit our site. This includes standard usage data such as pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate geographic location (city/region level, derived from your IP address), device type, and browser type. This data is collected through Umami Analytics, a cookieless analytics tool running on infrastructure our operator controls, and is used to understand how visitors use our site and to measure the effectiveness of our content. We also track outbound clicks to venue websites and form submission events to measure engagement. Some forms are additionally protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates submissions for automated abuse; Cloudflare receives technical signals about protected form submissions under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our site is not directed at children, and if we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

How We Use Your Information

Quote requests. When you submit a quote request on a venue's page, you are asking us to put you in touch with that venue. By submitting a quote request, you are directing Beacon Directories, LLC to share your submission — including your name, email, phone number, and event details — with that venue. If the venue has claimed its listing, we deliver your request to it directly. If the venue has not yet claimed its listing, we notify the venue that a request is waiting and release your details once it verifies the listing is theirs; some requests may go undelivered if a venue never claims its listing. Once your information is in the venue's hands, the venue's own privacy practices govern how they use and retain it.

Claim requests. Claim listing submissions are used to verify venue ownership and facilitate the listing claim process. This information is not shared with third parties.

Venue suggestions and city requests. These submissions are used internally to guide our content decisions and are not shared with third parties.

Analytics data. We use aggregated, non-identifying analytics data (such as page views and outbound click counts) to understand site performance. We may share this aggregated data with venue partners to help them understand traffic to their listings. This data does not identify individual visitors.

Sharing Your Information

We share your personal information only in the following circumstances:

• With venues you contact. When you submit a quote request, your form data is shared with the specific venue you inquired about so they can respond. We do not share your information with any other venues or unrelated third parties.
• With service providers. Your form submissions are processed on the Beacon Directories platform operated by Beacon Directories, LLC, which stores them and notifies us by email. Our site analytics are processed by a self-hosted Umami Analytics instance (not shared with advertising networks). Form spam protection is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile; please refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy for information about their data practices.
• Aggregated data with venue partners. We may share aggregated, anonymized usage statistics (such as page view counts and click counts for a specific listing) with venue partners. This data cannot be used to identify any individual visitor.
• As required by law. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Contact Consent

Our quote request form includes a consent checkbox. By checking this box, you agree that Top Birthday Parties and the venue listed on the page may contact you by phone or email about your event inquiry at the contact details you provide, and you acknowledge that your submission will be shared with that venue to fulfill your request. Your consent choice is recorded with your submission.

Cookies and Tracking

This site uses Umami Analytics, which is cookieless: it does not set tracking cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not build advertising profiles. Where Google reCAPTCHA protects a form, Google may set cookies or use similar technologies as part of its abuse detection. We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting technologies. (Until June 2026 this site used Google Analytics 4; that has been retired, and only historical aggregate data from it is kept.)

What Happens After You Submit a Form

When you submit a quote request, here is exactly what happens to your information, in order:

1. Your form is transmitted to the Beacon Directories platform operated by Beacon Directories, LLC, which records it and notifies Beacon Directories, LLC by email.
2. Beacon Directories, LLC delivers the submission — your name, email, phone number, and event details — to the specific venue you inquired about if that venue has claimed its listing. If it hasn't, Beacon Directories, LLC notifies the venue that a request is waiting and releases your details once the venue verifies its listing; a request may go undelivered if the venue never claims its listing.
3. The venue, not Beacon Directories, LLC, is responsible for replying to you and for any further use of your information.
4. Beacon Directories, LLC retains a copy of the submission only for record-keeping, fraud prevention, and to confirm a referral was sent.

Submitting a quote request never adds you to a marketing list, newsletter, or promotional communication. If you suggest a venue for the directory, you may receive a short series of setup emails about that suggestion (each with a working unsubscribe link). We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or any party outside the venue you selected.

You may receive a one-time transactional confirmation acknowledging that your inquiry was forwarded. Any further messages will come from the venue itself, or, if you consented on the form, from Top Birthday Parties regarding your specific inquiry.

Data Retention

Form submissions are retained on the Beacon Directories platform and in our email records for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected — such as responding to your inquiry, facilitating venue claims, or managing our business operations. Analytics data is retained on our self-hosted Umami instance. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

Data Breach Notification

Beacon Directories, LLC maintains commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information transmitted through our forms. If we discover a security breach involving your personal information, we will:

• Investigate the scope and cause of the incident promptly;
• Notify affected individuals as required by applicable state and federal law, including Nebraska's Financial Data Protection and Consumer Notification of Data Security Breach Act and any other state breach-notification statute that applies to you, using the contact information you provided;
• Notify the relevant state Attorney General or regulator where required;
• Take reasonable corrective action, including working with our service providers (our hosting and analytics providers) to mitigate the impact and prevent recurrence.

Notifications will describe what happened, what information was affected, what we are doing about it, and what you can do. They will be sent without unreasonable delay and consistent with the timing required by the applicable law.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at the email address below. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

For California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have additional rights, including:

• Right to know. You may request that we disclose what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to delete. You may request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
