Mahogany Prime Steakhouse

Mahogany Prime is the steakhouse Tulsans book when the meal itself is the event — the milestone birthday, the round-number anniversary, the retirement that doubles as a celebration. The restaurant on East 61st is the original location of the Hal Smith Restaurant Group's flagship steakhouse concept, with the dim wood paneling, white tablecloths, and dry-aged USDA Prime program that defines the brand.

Private dining is handled by a dedicated events team out of the Tulsa location (separate phone line at 918-210-3106 or via Tripleseat). Multiple private rooms accommodate groups from roughly 12 to 60 guests, each fully enclosed with its own service. Pre-fixe menus are built around steak and seafood entrees with family-style sides and shared dessert; the events coordinator works with hosts to set the menu about two weeks ahead. The wine list runs deep on California cabs and Bordeaux, with sommelier-selected pairings available. Reserve three to four weeks ahead for Friday or Saturday evenings.
